Continue Sutama said Putu Conference and the International Cultural Festival held the North Bali for four days, with the number of participants in this conference as many as 130 people among the 51 speakers, 54 regular participants, 25 people invited from within and abroad. Meanwhile, Minister of Culture and Tourism of RI in his speech read by Foreign Affairs Director of Marketing Department of Culture and Tourism, I Gede Pitana professor, said that each culture has a value which is a human adaptation to the environment there and formed in a long span of history that is the principles of local wisdom for the tribal/ethnic question. This conference is expected to be able to explore the values of local wisdom, which became one of the characteristics of ethnic identity, especially Bali North Bali. The event runs from 30 July to 2 August 2009 in Hotel Banyualit, Lovina.
Also attending the conference were representatives of the Minister of cultures and Tourism of RI (Marketing Director of Foreign Affairs), the Governor was represented by Head of Culture and Tourism of Bali Province, Regent of Buleleng, Element Muspida Buleleng District, Artist and historian in North Bali, as well as speakers in the country and abroad.
