No Tipping Policy For Indonesia?

During a recent short visit to Bali, Indonesia’s new Minister of Culture and Tourism, I Gde Ardika has suggested that Indonesian tourism should consider adopting a “no tipping” policy. Recalling earlier halcyon days in Indonesia, the Minister has pointed out how an across-the-board no-tipping policy would ensure a higher and more uniform standard of service to the Country’s tourism visitors. Now there’s an idea worth considering.
