Agency of the United Nations in charge of the field of culture (UNESCO) has reviewed the Padang Adityawarman Museum to research and record the damage to objects from the museum collection of 7.9 Richter scale earthquake events that occurred Wednesday afternoon (30/9) ago.
“The results of data collection while, as many as 325 museum collections damaged and destroyed them in the form of XI century ceramics collection,” said Ursia Dhavida, Padang Adityawarman Museum Head to desk officer at the Media Center Depbudpar PB Satkorlak governor’s office of West Sumatra Earthquake, Padang, Tuesday (13/10).
According Ursia said the company had reported damage to the museum collection objects to UNESCO staff, and they have reviewed the location and immediately promised to bring in experts to deal with.
Among the collection of ceramic objects that are destroyed in the age of ceramic relics and Chang Ming dynasty, and ceramic relics in an era of ancient Europe.
