In the area of Sanur, a famous beach in Bali, there is an area in the southern end of Sanur that called – called the name of the S * m * w * ng. This area is unique in providing a house numbering.

There are some houses that have a common numbering plan with numbers and some are having with the additional digits numbering XX. Initially the author estimates that this occurs because the house numbering system that is solid and should be numbered with the additional letters.

Why just the letters “XX” is used, is there a relationship with the sacred meaning of the letter “X”?

The more curious, this afternoon (a week, 21 october 2007) the author tried to explore this mystery. With a little curious, the author tried to ask here and there, but just smile dikulum the author received.

With a little courage mustered by answering a curiosity, the author finally ventured into one of the houses are numbered “XX”.

The location of a highway lane, the house size was quite large, approximately 10-15 cars accommodated therein, the arrangement of this house garden neat to look like star hotel.
