Visit of foreign tourists (tourists) to Indonesia from the five major markets namely; China, the Middle East (United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia), Malaysia, and Australia in the period January-April 2009 experienced high growth, according to the Central Data Management and Networking System (P2DSJ) Depbudpar, Tuesday (9/6).
Mentioned, the number of foreign tourists visit berkembangsaan United Arab Emirates in January-April 2009 of 925 people or 76.86% growth compared to the same period in 2008. Similarly, foreign tourists visit Saudi Arabia for 12,809 people or 40.11% growth. While foreign tourists from Malaysia and China, each for 240,577 and 112,583 people or 21.31%, and grew 17.11%. Meanwhile, foreign tourists visiting Australia for 123,833 people or 21.27% growth.
In cumulative number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in the period January to April 2009 of 1,893,155 people, or grew by 1.53% compared to the same period in 2008 of 1,864,585 people.
